I have more than 25 years’ experience writing for businesses.

I originally trained as a lawyer. After gaining a law degree at UWIST, Cardiff, I was called to the Bar, then won a scholarship to the London School of Economics where I completed a Masters degree in Law.

I then spent 8 years in employment with a global food manufacturer. I worked at corporate level in legal services and corporate affairs, then at operational level as a communications manager. My next step was to become self-employed, specialising as a communications consultant and freelance writer.

I have worked closely with Corporate Affairs, PR & Communications, Sales & Marketing, R&D and HR departments, as well as their agencies, advisors and industry bodies.

In 2014, I graduated from Kingston University with a First Class honours degree in Creative Writing with English Literature. As well as setting me on the path to becoming a creative writer, this learning has added a further dimension to my business writing.

My combination of qualifications and experience means I can communicate complex concepts and extensive information with absolute clarity, whilst making it a pleasure to read.
